Youth Academy
Launching this June, the first Five Cities Baroque Youth Academy will bring together promising high school-aged vocal and instrumental musicians from the Five Cities region to participate in a week of rehearsals, lessons, seminars, and masterclasses with our superb Teaching Artists.
Running concurrently with the Second Festival, the Youth Academy will take place June 17th-21st in Decatur. All students will participate in daily rehearsals and group learning sessions, observe rehearsals for the Festival, and receive private instruction from one of our Teaching Artists. Lunch will be provided each day, and students will enjoy priority seating at each event of the Festival. Tuition for the week will be $225. The Youth Academy will culminate with a performance on Friday, June 21st, at Decatur First United Methodist Church.
